Matthew previously served as a Presidential Management Fellow, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Department of Treasury. Prior to this he was an associate consultant for Grant Thornton LLP's public sector advisory services where he worked with a large federal government agency doing performance measurement and analysis work. Matthew earned his Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from American University in Washington, D.C, and his B.A. with double majors in Public Policy​ and International Relations from University of Delaware.​<br></p><p>Matthew was motivated to dive deeper into public policy after participating in UD's winter intern/study program in Washington, D.C., led by Biden School instructor, Ed Freel. After this experience, Matthew decided to pursue a B.A. in Public Policy in addition to his B.A. in International Relations. He also gained valuable experience as an undergraduate research assistant at the Biden School's Institute for Public Administration (IPA).
