| University of Delaware | 298F Graham Hall | Newark, DE 19716 | <div class="ExternalClassBAC10DFA57DB4DC5A404F903D2E9EEA0"><p>Danilo Yanich, Ph.D. (University of Delaware, 1980) has been with the University of Delaware since completing his Doctorate. He is a Professor in the Biden School of Public Policy and Administration and the Director of the M.A. degree program in Urban Affairs and Public Policy. In addition to his work with the University, he has worked as a Management Consultant for the Delaware Department of Community Affairs, a Research Consultant for the Delaware Board of Parole. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In 2003 and again in 2004, Dr. Yanich was appointed a Presidential Fellowship attending the Salzburg Seminars entited, respectively, "Professional Ethics of the News Media" and "Ethics in News Reporting and Editing," held in Salzburg, Austria. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters. His research focuses on the relationship of media, citizenship and public policy, specifically political communication, media ownership and crime and justice. His book, entitled <em>Buying Reality: Political Ads, News Content & Money</em>, will be published by Fordham University Press in the late summer 2019.
