"Communication,
creativity, and teamwork are my most significant takeaways from the OCL
program, because learning and mastering all these different things have led to
the best opportunity I could have ever wished for: A job right after college,
but most importantly the perfect job that I love and can't wait to get started.
The company I am working for really embodies and reflects everything I
have learned while studying leadership here at UD. So the results of all my
hard work and learning through these past four years is my dream job at the age
of 22. If I continued down the route of getting a B.S. in marketing, I
would not have been given the tools to succeed that I received from the
Organizational and Community Leadership program."

"I was offered a position as an Account Coordinator in NYC at a company called News Marketing America. I went through an extensive interview process and felt that it was a very competitive job. I did get offered this job as a leadership major over a lot of business majors. The company, which is one of the top companies to work for according to the Princeton review, was very impressed with this major. Although I did turn down this offer because I decided to pursue teaching, I was very honored to be offered this position and I think it shows the leadership major can prepare you for any type of job!"

"After graduation I will be working with TTI (Techtonic Industries) as a Single Store Sales Representative in their Leadership Development program in Nanuet, New York. I am very excited to have received a position with a company that fits my desires as well as this one. I would not have been able to attain this position without the experiences gained in the Organizational and Community Leadership Major. It does not just teach theories and information, but teaches one to understand themselves and others as part of the problem-solving process."
