She also provides guidance and support to local associations actively participating in school board elections and local referendums.</span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.2;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><br></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.2;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:arial;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;">Prior to joining DSEA, Taylor worked for Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:arial;color:#222222;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;">managing the administration of the Prevention and Recovery Support Services grant, an ARPA-funded initiative to connect underserved communities to services that address the social determinants of health. Taylor also spent four years working for </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:arial;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;">the Senate Majority Caucus of the Delaware General Assembly as the Policy Director, Executive Assistant to Senator Nicole Poore, and Legislative Assistant to Senator David Sokola. As the Policy Director, she assisted the caucus’s fourteen senators during every stage of policy development, from researching emerging policy topics to facilitating stakeholder engagement. </span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.2;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><br></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.2;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:arial;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap;">Taylor earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Delaware in 2017. She also received her B.A. from the University of Delaware as a triple major in Public Policy, Political Science, and English with a Spanish minor. At the Biden School, Taylor served as a two-time Legislative Fellow, which provided her with hands-on legislative experience. During her time at UD, she also worked for four years as a public administration fellow with the Institute for Public Administration on projects related to education policy.
