| Allie Foster | 2022 | MPA | https://www.bidenschool.udel.edu/Images Profile Alumnus/allie-foster.jpeg | COVID-19 Recovery Program Manager | <p>Allie Foster (MPA ’22) is the COVID-19 Recovery Program Manager for the County of Chester, Pennsylvania. In this role, Allie oversees the distribution and management of nearly $102 million awarded to the County as part of the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The County assembled an evaluation committee made up of County employees and citizen volunteers to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on the over 300 applications received from Chester County municipalities, public authorities, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations for ARPA funds.<br></p><p>While pursuing her MPA degree, Allie worked as a graduate research assistant with the Center for Community Research and Service (CCRS). Allie worked alongside CCRS superiors to provide program administration for Cinnaire’s Jumpstart Wilmington program, where she developed skills in programmatic reporting, event planning, and networking. Through her graduate research assistantship with CCRS, she also completed a Nonprofit Leadership Certification and developed skills in nonprofit management including strategic planning, Board of Directors development, and relationship management.<br></p><p>In addition, Allie took full advantage of the UD MPA’s internship program, serving as the very first graduate intern for Married to the Ring for Families. In this position, Allie was responsible for Board of Directors development, recruitment and communications; organizational development; human resources development; and program evaluation process development.<br></p><p>Allie was the recipient of the 2021 Milton and Mary Edelstein Scholarship for Public and Community Service, is a 2021 inductee into the Nu Lambda Mu International Nonprofit Honor Society, and was a member of the UD International City/Council Management Association (ICMA) student chapter.<br></p><p>In her free time, Allie enjoys visiting museums, reading, doing puzzles, attending sporting events, and traveling.<br></p> | https://www.bidenschool.udel.edu/Images Profile Alumnus/Forms/DispForm.aspx?ID=82 | |
