Session 1: Ethics in Public Administration

Ethical decision-making is essential for good public management. This workshop, led by Chase Barnes, is designed to expose students to common ethical frameworks, show how those frameworks are relevant to public policy and administration, and provide an opportunity for students to apply those frameworks to real-world scenarios.
Session 2: The Art of the Interview

Led by Joy Jordan, and UD HR Professionals Kristen (Krissy) Hickman and Karen Montana, this session will cover how to adequately prepare for an interview, create a good impression, and stay memorable. This workshop will help you understand and prepare for the interview process by learning from the candidate and interviewer's perspectives.
Session 3: Learning to Navigate the Challenges of Life

While we all desire to travel through life without care or confusion, experiencing success, peace, calm, and happiness, the reality is that life is always less than picture-perfect. Challenges will come from every direction, and though you can’t control the challenges, you can focus your energy on how to look up when things get down. Life is about choices, and this workshop, led by Valdese West, will show you how to deal with the unexpected and embrace the opportunities of life.
