In this episode of First State Insights, Paul Page, Editor of The Wall Street Journal's Logistics Report, speaks with Troy Mix, Associate Director of the University of Delaware's Institute for Public Administration (IPA), about trends in the freight and logistics sector. Topics covered in this November 20, 2020 interview include the increased economic importance of logistics and supply chain management, the evolving physical and digital infrastructure demands of the sector, and thoughts on what's in store for the logistics sector over the next few months and years.
In 2015, Mr. Page helped to launch the Logistics Report, the Wall Street Journal's dedicated site for all things supply chain and logistics. He came to the Journal from Congressional Quarterly, where he was economic policy editor from 2012 to 2015. He has had a long career in logistics reporting, including nearly 20 years at The Journal of Commerce.
