Happy #MeetUsMonday! Today we are highlighting Kristie Marmo, Administrative Assistant III for the Institute for Public Administration (IPA) and the Center for Community Research and Service (CCRS). She joined IPA back in January 2022 and since then she has been an extraordinary addition to the team. Kristie is the glue that keeps the office together with her phenomenal planning skills, along with many other tasks that contribute to the overall organization of both centers. We can always count on her to put together a plan and make it happen.
We asked Kristie a few questions including her experience at IPA thus far, and these are her responses:
What is working at IPA like?
Working at IPA isn't really like work. It's more like a hive of productive craziness. Each person has their own role and everyone works together for a similar goal to expand the hive. Jerome is, of course, the king bee.
Describe IPA in 3 words.
Long Reaching, Collaborative, and Advancement.
What hashtags describe your personality best?
#fetch #kindofabigdeal #foodguru #AlittlebitAlexis #makeithappen
Where is your happy place?
Anywhere that I can interact with animals.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I am legally married in 2 countries.
What has been your favorite project at IPA?
That's a tough one. IPA has so many unique projects that I have had the opportunity to be involved in. I'm going to go with Basic Mediation Training because I really got to showcase my Hospitality background and loved seeing everyone excited to return each day for the training. Also, it was really cool to see people of many different backgrounds collaborating and learning together.
