Associate Dean of Research Kim Isett Joins Public Management Review February 2022

Kim Isett has been appointed as an associate editor of Public Management Review (PMR). Isett is the associate dean of research in the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration and director of the Master of Public Health, health policy and management program at the University of Delaware.
Beginning February 2022, Isett will have full editorial responsibility for a portion of the manuscripts submitted to PMR, which is based out of the University of Edinburgh and regarded as being among the top three journals in the public management field. She will work with manuscripts focused on policy implementation and the use of evidence in public decision-making, which aligns with several of her areas of research expertise.
“I am honored to join such a wonderful inaugural group of associate editors of the journal and for the opportunity to further the great work of PMR, which I've had the privilege to work with in some capacity science 2014," said Isett. “This recent appointment as associate editor represents a culmination of that commitment to PMR, but also an exciting trajectory of the prominence of the journal itself and its importance to the public management community as a highly sought-after outlet for high-quality research."
Isett's previous editorial experience includes serving as North American editor for Public Management Review (2017–2022), lead editor for the Evidence in PA Feature of Public Administration Review (2015–2017), and book review editor for the International Journal of Public Management (2011–2018). She has also served on the editorial boards of Australian Journal of Public Administration, International Public Management Journal, Public Management Review, Public Administration Review, and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
