Martha Corrozi Narvaez, associate policy scientist with the Institute
for Public Administration's Water Resources Agency (WRA), served as
guest associate editor for the July issue of Water Resources IMPACT magazine.
Her article "Green Jobs for Urban Youth in Wilmington, Delaware"
discusses how and why the program was started, its key concepts and
activities, and its future direction.
Published by the American Water Resources Association, the July issue of Water Resources IMPACT magazine featured articles on youth and water resources.
The Wilmington Green Jobs program, coordinated by the WRA, was
established so that Wilmingtons youth have opportunities to transform
the city into a greener, cleaner, safer community while engaging in
meaningful environmental experiences through employment, education, and
mentoring.
