The Center for Community Research & Service and the Institute for Public Administration proudly presents this Delaware Affordable Housing Webinar Series.
In the third session of the Delaware Affordable Housing Webinar Series, we are highlighting the perspectives of people who do the work to improve housing conditions in our communities. Housing quality and affordability have become a barrier in every part of our state and in almost every community nationwide.
In this action-oriented session, two practitioners from each of Delaware’s counties will describe the impacts of their work in housing and community development and provide their expertise on specific policies that could improve housing conditions statewide.
Our speakers will focus on the conflicts and challenges they face and opportunities for our state and local government partners to collaborate with practitioners who want to improve housing conditions statewide and make Delaware a model for the rest of the country.
From New Castle County:
- Logan Herring, CEO of WRK Group & REACH Riverside
- Carrie Casey, General Manager of the New Castle Co. Division of Community Development & Housing
From Kent County:
- Karen Speakman, Executive Director of the National Council on Agricultural Life & Labor Research Fund (NCALL)
- Dave Edgell, Director of the Delaware Office of State Planning Coordination
From Sussex County:
