  • Original, unpublished work
  • Relevant to field of public affairs, written for an interdisciplinary audience
  • Primary research journal articles; interviews with policymakers and practitioners; book reviews; policy briefs

Opportunities:

  • Have your work published
  • Expand knowledge in the field

  • Present findings to peers and faculty

Submission guidelines for scholarly articles:

An abstract of no more than 250 words; clear research question; literature review; research method; findings and discussion

General guidelines:

  • 8-25 pages, not including works cited
  • APA style (6th ed.)
  • Microsoft Word document, double-spaced 12 pt. Times New Roman font, in-text citations
  • Completed author contact information form (available at www.nvpajournal.wordpress.com/submission)
