KIDS COUNT in Delaware has once again published a
"page-a-day" style calendar to count down the days in our state's
legislative session. Like our annual fact book, the calendar shares indicator
data and policy solutions related to obstacles to success for Delaware children.
Data included in the calendar was collected from a variety of local and
national sources, and is grouped into categories of health, education, economic
security, and family/community. Very special thanks goes to Nemours Childrens
Health Systems for co-sponsoring this year's calendar.
A print version of the 2019 calendar will be provided to
legislators in both the House of Representatives and the Senate on Delaware's
first day of session. But the information contained in the calendar is not just
for legislators- you can follow the year electronically too: a pdf of the
calendar is available online or you can get daily updates @dekidscount on
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
