As we navigate the many changes happening as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are reminded of the importance of showing up for one’s community and engaging with the world around you (even if predominantly through digital means). Voting, if you are eligible, is a key way to have an impact on your community, and the University of Delaware is committed to helping students make their voices heard in 2020.
With the shifting nature of our election system amidst the pandemic, your state’s resource page is a reliable guide for up-to-date, accurate information on shifted primary dates, mail-in ballot applications, COVID-19 related changes to in-person voting, and absentee ballot requests. So, to make it easy for you, we’ve linked each state directly to their resource page that handles information on voting in an interactive map.
If you’re looking for an online tool to make it easy to receive assistance with voter registration and vote-by-mail processes, as well as provide you with ongoing updates about elections at the local, state, and national level then be sure to sign up for TurboVote.TurboVote makes it simple to change your address for requesting absentee ballots, even if you’ve relocated away from campus during these unprecedented times.
