IPA policy scientists share transportation research and insights in the Delaware Center for Transportation's Fall 2017 TranSearch newsletter.

From crowdsourcing to mobility forums, the Delaware Center for Transportation (DCT) is focused on the future when it comes to building a coordinated mobility and specialized transportation framework in Delaware.

Julia O'Hanlon and Marcia Scott, policy scientists at the Institute for Public Administration (IPA), have lended their expertise and experience in transportation research to DCT's Fall 2017 newsletter.

Scott's article, "The Use of Crowdsourcing Tools in Active Transportation Planning," focuses on Bike-to-School Week at Downes Elementary School and Bike-to-Work Day in Newark and how crowdsourcing tools played a role in harvesting insight into new transportation initiatives. The full article is available on pages 13-15 of the DCT newsletter linked below.

"Building a Coordinated Mobility and Specialized Transportation Framework in Delaware: Statewide Mobility Forum Engages Service Providers in Delaware," an article by both O'Hanlon and Scott, shares the results of county-based workshops and a statewide mobility forum sponsored in part by IPA. The full article is available on pages 17-19 of the DCT newsletter linked below.
