Leland Ware and Erin Knight authored a recent op-ed on the connection between housing segregation and lifelong health for black Americans. The op-ed was based on research findings presented at a UD event on April 17, 2019, titled "Reducing Inequities in Health & Well-being by Addressing Structural Racism in the US". The Center for Community Research & Service graduate research assistants, Kalyn McDonough and Sydney Rendon, presented their research at the event along with Dr. Knight and Dr. Barret Michalec (Associate Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean of Interprofessional Education in the College of Health Sciences).
