Sam Vinograd, national security analyst at CNN and former advisor on the National Security Council, offered the keynote at the 2019 NVPA Symposium. 

This year's edition of New Visions for Public Affairs (NVPA) is now published and available online here.

The journal includes a policy blog by former Vice President Joe Biden and six student research papers.

The NVPA Symposium, held at the Biden Institute, featured research presentations by three student contributors and a keynote by Sam Vinograd, former advisor on the National Security Council.

NVPA is an annual student-produced publication of the University of Delawares Biden School of Public Policy and Administration. NVPA is managed by a student editorial board that receives input from a faculty advisory board.

The student-run journal showcases research and writing related to the field of public policy and administration, with content including, but not limited to, scholarly research essays, literature reviews, and special interviews. Preference is given to works that take new approaches in their discussion of current policies and future alternatives.
