Wei-Ming Chen, associate policy scientist at the Center for Applied Demography and Survey Research (CADSR), won the Best Presentation Award for outstanding scientific research and excellent oral presentation in the 2nd International Conference on Bioresources, Energy, Environment, and Materials Technology. This conference was held in South Korea in June 2018. 

The topic Dr. Chen presented is Circular Economy and Energy Transition Nexus with focus on Non-energy Use of Fuels. Dr. Chen cooperated with Dr. Kim in preparing this presentation and also co-authored a journal paper on this topic. Both of them graduated from the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy at the University of Delaware. Dr. Chen dedicated herself to sustaining alumni connections, and one strategy is to conduct research projects together and around the world.
