| University of Delaware | 178 Graham Hall | Newark, DE 19716 | <div class="ExternalClass2FF9D698D75748B6A906B17A23A95C7A">Eric Jacobson serves as an Associate Professor with the University of Delaware’s Biden School of Public Policy and Administration and Policy Scientist for the Institute for Public Administration. His teaching, service and research interests are primarily in the areas of health policy, public economics, and compensation management. Professor Jacobson has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses, including Health Policy, Economics in the Public and Nonprofit Sectors, Health Economics, and Economics of Health Policy. He is a recipient of the Leslie A. Whittington Excellence in Teaching Award from the National Association of Public Affairs and Administration (NAPSAA). <br> <br>Professor Jacobson’s public service and research activities have focused on healthy communities / the build environment, quality assessment, senior center funding, and health disparities. He has served as principle investigator on numerous projects sponsored by organizations such as the Delaware General Assembly’s Joint Finance Committee, the State of Delaware Office of the Controller General, the Delaware Division of Public Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Delaware Health Care Commission. He also consults with government and nonprofit agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
