The Brandywine-Christina watershed spans three states and supplies drinking water to over half a million people in Delaware and Pennsylvania. A newly-released report highlights what projects are being carried out throughout the watershed to improve its overall health.
Martha Narvaez, a policy scientist at the Institute for Public Administration's Water Resources Center, spoke with First, Delaware's public media newsmagazine, to discuss the report's findings.
"I think the more we talk to people, the more they
understand there are problems," said Narvaez when asked about the public's support in protecting the watershed. "The problem is that people don't know what they can do."
The complete interview with Shirley Min begins at approximately 18:00.
