ICMA is the leading association of local government professionals dedicated to creating and supporting thriving communities throughout the world. With its more than 11,000 members internationally, ICMA works to improve the lives of citizens by identifying, promoting, and speeding the adoption of leading government practices. UD ICMA student chapter members organize events and initiatives that promote interest in careers in local government. Membership offers professional development and networking opportunities with seasoned local government professionals.
UD ICMA student chapter members receive a FREE full membership and all the benefits of a full ICMA membership. In addition, UD ICMA student chapter members enjoy networking events, professional development experiences, and mentorship from members of the City Management Association of Delaware (CMAD), and the opportunity to apply to become an ICMA and/or a UD Local Government Management Fellow!
